I wanted to give a quick safety update for those planning to travel the Mã Pí Lèng Pass. After two hours of heavy rain on the afternoon of September 30th, the road conditions may be more challenging than usual. If you have a route planned from Đồng Văn to Mèo Vạc, or vice versa, please be extra cautious. The rain can make the pass slippery and potentially hazardous.
