"This is my last night in the 4D3N Ha Giang lo..."
This is my last night in the 4D3N Ha Giang loop (for some of you it will be the first) and I had the best home stay experience here, or in Vn altogether. To put in perspective - I very rarely write a review but this one I actually bother to: - Shower: best shower, and that’s important for us riders. Strong water pressure, hot water, clean bathroom. - Room: I got myself a private room for 260k. And I think it’s very worth it. Having spent my first night in Du Gia I was freezing, my second night in Dong Van I slept with two blankets, temp dropped below 6. But this delightful house got a pleasant surprise: a heater! - Owner: a very pleasant and caring lady, you can tell she puts her heart into the house, having spent almost a decade hosting guests. If you have the chance to interact with her it would make your day! - Food: I had a nice family hotpot. The homegrown vegetables were strangely sweet. The organic chicken you can tell is.. organic and much more nutritious than what you’d find from most chicken in developed world. She didn’t fix a price for me. I tried to pay her 100k (the homestay in Du Gia charged me that much) and she refused, taking only 40k. I insisted to no avail. - Location: once you found the place it’s actually very near to the main road. There were two ways to get here. One will really test your slope driving skill, the other is much easier and shorter though I didn’t see the signs the first time. Heck, it’s still worth finding for. - Fun fact: as if sensing something, the gallant doggo showed me on the way out (through the easier way). That little act made me smile. Yes, will be coming back again. Though I still prefer it to be the last night on the Ha Giang Loop - because the other nights on other towns won’t be as good and I like it to be my little reward for completing the trip.

"Honestly, that night I spent at Ha Anh Homest..."
Honestly, that night I spent at Ha Anh Homestay will remain as one of the best memories in Vietnam for me. They are the kindest people and they're so generous, so loving that we felt like we're their family members, not guests or customers. The dinner was amazing. Anh offered us her homemade 'happy water' which is a mixture of plum juice and corn wine! Everything was great. If you're looking for a place, stop thinking and go there! Thanks for everything Anh :)

Easily the best accommodation in Yen Minh. Superb rooftop overseeing the town and mountains. Clean and fresh facilities. Great family dinner! Spacious common areas. English-speaking lovely woman running the place. Thank you! The price of the dorm room (5 huge beds, spacious and nice room) was 80 000 VND, private double rooms are 200 000 VND.

Lovely homestay with friendly hosts! Great city view and even a bath tub for cold nights. The family dinner was delicious.
