The staff is super friendly and helped me get back my mobile, which I forgot on the bus. Thanks again for the prompt help. Moreover, you get good tips for doing the loop (althouhg in the end we decided on a own shorter version). The semi automatic motorcycle we rented was totally ok and got us through the loop. The room is probably more of a true backpacker style. Huge, not comfy at all, hard beds and pretty cold (December). Breakfast was simpel but okay (eggs and bread, not sure what they will make for vegans though). So all in all it was what you get for the price and great if you travel on budget.

(Bản dịch của Google) Nhà trọ đẹp với nhiều thông tin và bản đồ về miền Bắc Việt Nam ở tầng trệt. Phòng ngủ tập thể ở trên cao trên tầng cao nhất cũng rất thoải mái, với rèm che riêng tư tốt cho từng buồng ngủ - tất cả đều khá rộng rãi phải nói là - và một máy điều hòa không khí thông gió mạnh trên một trong những bức tường. Phòng này mở ra ban công với tầm nhìn gần và dễ chịu ra hàng cây to lớn bên đường, cùng với một số ngọn đồi bao quanh một phía của Thành phố Hà Giang. Rất tiện lợi, khu vực giặt là rộng rãi và thường rất ấm - nơi người ta có thể treo quần áo đã giặt khô - nằm trên cùng một tầng. Rất dễ dàng tiếp cận nếu bạn đi du lịch tương đối nhẹ, lượng khách lưu thông tương đối nhanh và địa điểm hầu như không quá đông đúc - điều này thật tuyệt vời nếu bạn không cần phải bối rối bởi sự hiện diện của những người khác. The dorm room up high on the top floor is also very comfortable, with good individual privacy curtains for each sleeping cubicle - all rather spacious it has to be said - and a strongly ventilating air con unit on one of the walls. This opens up onto the balcony with close and pleasant views of the enormous roadside tree, together with some of the hills ringing one side of Ha Giang City. Very conveniently the spacious and usually very warm laundry area - where one can hang dry washed garments - is on the same storey. Very easy to access if you’re travelling relatively lightly, the turnover of guests is reasonably quick and the place is mostly not too busy - which is fantastic if you don’t need to be mollycoddled by the presence of others.

Amazing value for money. The staff is so friendly, they locked all the motorbikes together at night, suggested an amazing vegan restaurant, the room was very clean. Another great thing: You can refill your bottle for free from a filtered water faucet, great way to help the environment!

Great hostel for travellers on a budget! We stayed a couple of nights in June before and after the Ha Giang loop and had a really good experience especially with the friendly staff. He was very flexible when we could only arrive late at night, helped us with the transportation out from Ha Giang and we could easily leave our backpacks while we were on the loop. Rooms are basic, but with a good value for money and even a small breakfast was included. Also the cleanliness was absolutely all right.
